I came across this article at Wahingtonpost.com. It's a quick and easy fitness test that you can use use to see how you measure up. It even provides a table that shows what your results should be based on your gender and age. It's a great tool to keep track of your progress or to perhaps motivate a person to get up and get going. Check it out and see how you measure up. Here is a sample of the table for how many situps a woman should be able to do in 1 minute. Women | Age: | <20 | 20-29 | 30-39 | 40-49 | 50-59 | 60+ | | Superior | 55 | 51 | 42 | 38 | 30 | 28 | | Excellent | 46 | 44 | 35 | 29 | 24 | 17 | | Good | 36 | 38 | 29 | 24 | 20 | 11 | | Fair | 32 | 32 | 25 | 20 | 14 | 6 | | Poor | 28 | 24 | 20 | 14 | 10 | 3 | | Very Poor | 25 | 18 | 11 | 7 | 5 | |
