Oh! Nuts - In a good way

I was recently contacted by a company asking me if I would try out their products and jot my thoughts down here on my site.  I checked them out and decided why not? It seemed that they sold yummy goodness and lots of things I could cook and bake with.  Let me tell you what I've learned about Oh! Nuts.

When I first heard about this site, I have to admit that I was sort of skeptical. I mean a site that sells nuts? Come on! But then I checked them out and yes, they sell nuts - all kinds of nuts - but they sell so much more too! They have all sorts of candy and chocolates - you can even shop by color - dried fruit, seeds, mixes and gronola, gourmet coffee beans and all sorts of gift baskets.  I lost myself browsing around their site and making a list of all the items I wanted to devour purchase in the future.  Here is what they have to say about their site:

We offer a large variety of Nuts, Candy, Chocolates, with over 2,000 Items to choose from. We offer wholesale prices for bulk purchases. Whether you are looking for a one time large order or you would like to shop at discount prices we are the site for you. You will also find a large selection of Gourmet Gift basket for any occasion, whether it's for Purim or Passover and Hanukkah Gifts we have it. We also carry a large selection of wedding favors like jordan almonds and wedding candy. If you like salty or sweet junk or healthy Oh! Nuts Has it for you. If you need help finding anything or for custom orders please feel free to call us any time. We hope you will have a pleasant time shopping at OhNuts!.

They were kind enough to send me walnuts, almonds, dried apricots and mint lentils to try.  You can check out the recipes I used them in here , here , and here (I melted down the mint lentils instead of using semi sweet chocolate and mint extract  and they were very yummy)  I sort of a fibbed;  I actually never got around to cooking with the apricots because before I could toss them into a recipe, we had eaten them all!!!  You really can't blame me people - they were like candy! The products were fresh and came in resealable bags to keep them that way. The nuts were flavorful - much better than what I find in the grocery store- and stayed that way during cooking.

So check them out for yourself - I think you'll be glad you did!
