Because it’s nice to share
We’ve been doing quite a bit of baking around here lately for pot luck dinners and just for fun. Since I just cannot keep all the goodness to myself, here are some of my favorites from what we’ve made.
Carrot Cake – okay so I made this the other night because I came across the recipe at The Pioneer Woman Cooks and it just called to me. It is so good – you must try it too. I am afraid I am becoming obsessed with this site.
Bread Pudding – from the same site (see above) – This in no way resembles the mushy cafeteria style bread pudding you might be used to. This has substance to it and I swear it just melts in your mouth. The worst part was waiting for it to cook.
Smore Cookies – all the goodness of a Smore without the stickiness and really, it’s too hot these days to have a fire.
Choco-Buterscotch Bars – this recipe puts a bunch of my favorite things all in one place -one very gooey, very sweet place :O)
