summer vacation
it’s pretty obvious i think but i’ve taken a blogging break. and i’m going to keep with it a little while longer i think. it’s summer, i’m done with my summer class and most importantly, the kids are home from school. during the school year all of us are so busy that i feel like my time with them is not just limited but busy and rushed. summer is my time to just hang out with these monkeys and connect with them. i am so fortunate to be able to have the summers off. i know that once i finally get my degree i’ll be getting a job and that will most certainly mean i will be working during the summer. on top of that, my daughter, the oldest, is 14 and i am not sure how many of her summer days she will continue to spend here in the house. these teens tend to get pretty busy!
i want to make the most of the time i have with all of them. and right now, for me, blogging just doesn’t fit into the picture. it will again in the near future i am sure and i expect that when we all get busy with our school schedules in the fall blogging will come easier to me.
until then, i’m gonna enjoy splashing at the local pool, watching some cheesy Disney TV shows, taking the pups and the kids for walks in the evenings, laughing about nonsense with all three of them and just getting to spend some really good quality time with these kids i’m lucky enough to be a mom to.
