cultivating me

me being me and making my way through life one day, one book, and one recipe at a time

my new favorite lunch

I am a creature of habit and perhaps overly love routines and plans.  I am sure this is one reason why I am loving Weight Watchers so much.  I’m funny when it comes to eating too because I could easily eat the same thing every single day of the week.  For me, if it’s good and fits in my plan then why change it?

This is my new favorite lunch and I can see eating this every single day til forever or at least until the ingredients I have on hand run out.

  • One Tomato Basil Sandwich Wrap (I’m using La Tortilla Factory brand w/ only 3g fat and 12g of fiber)
  • 2 Tbsp humus (I’ve got garlic and roasted red pepper in my fridge)
  • 1 cup assorted sprouts
  • 1/2 rotisserie chicken shredded (skin removed)
  • 1 tomato sliced or diced

Spread the hummus on the wrap. Layer on the sprouts, chicken and tomato. Roll it and there you go.  All that yummy-ness and only 5 points!  (For kicks and giggles, you could add one slice of reduced fat provolone cheese for only one point more)

Mmmm…that sounds really good. I am adding some of these ingrediants to my grocery list so I can try it. I had a recipe for easy hummus that I kept meaning to make. Maybe I’ll do that tomorrow! Thanks for playing along with my 5 point Friday.
