a little ‘Goody’
I don’t know about you but when I work out I can’t stand it when my hair sticks to my face or my forehead. My hair is short now but when it was longer, I would always pull it back into a ponytail and then add a headband to keep the little hairs back in place. The problem was that no matter what kind of headband I used, or how new the headband was, it slowly would slid back and eventually off my head. I usually got so frustrated, I would just take it off.
Enter the Goody Stay Put headband. This headband does just what it’s name says it does, it stays put - but it isn’t too tight on my head. I picked some up a few months back and totally love them. I love them so much I gave one to my daughter, the ballerina, and another to my bestest best who runs/works out almost every day. They love them too. No matter what I’ve been doing while wearing (jogging, cleaning, wights, running around after the kids…) these headbands, they stay right where they are supposed to and keep my hair off my face. It is especially helpful now because my hair is too short to tie back. The only help I get is from these headbands. They come in all sorts of colors and at around 4 dollars for a set of three, they are reasonably priced. I highly recommend this product.
I haven’t really been getting off my bum lately and this morning hit the treadmill. However this almost did not happen. I was tired and a bit cranky and I could not find my head band. That was almost all I needed to decide to go back to bed. I need all the help I can get and I have been realizing more and more lately that it is the little things in life that count.
To honor the way the little things impact my life in positive ways, I thought I would share the love and am offering this little goody (get it? goody? hahaha, what can I say, I am my father’s daughter) as a giveaway:
(The white one is mine. I thought you might like to see it for size)
If you would like your chance to win this set of three Stay Put headbands, all you have to do is leave a comment answering one of the following:
What motivates you to get going?
What is the one tool/piece of equipment that you just can’t live without when it comes to working out?
I’ll leave comments open until 5pm PST on Friday October 4, 2008. Winner will be announced Saturday October 5. Contest open to U.S. and Canada residents only (Sorry overseas postage is just too much!). You do not have to have a blog to enter, just a valid email address where I can contact you if you win.

What gets me moving? Nothing…. although I seem to think that a Wii Fit will… but I have no funds to purchase one…
I know the contest it over, but that’s okay because I have four of these bands myself and they are great! (Weird, they come two to a pack here, not three!)
