rolled oats (not instant)
1/2 cup
pecans or walnuts, chopped
1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/4 cup
honey
1/2 cup
toasted wheat germ
1/2 cup
dried apples, choped
1/2 cup
raisins

Description
This is a super easy breakfast to make that can also double as a mid morning or afternoon snack. Have it plan, with yogurt or with milk. I like to make it on the weekends and have it available every morning. The kids love it too. Just sweet enough but not full of sugar!
Instructions
preheat oven to 350
in a bowl, combine oats, nuts, and cinnamon
add honey and toss to coat - clumps will form but will separate during baking
spread evenly in 9 * 13 baking dish
bake or 5 minutes
using a spatula, lift and turn mixture over
bake an addtional 5 minutes
let cool on a wire rack
once cool, stir in wheat germ, apples, and raisins
store in air tight container
Notes
can be stored up to one month. serving size = 1/2 cup
