  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 1 15 oz can light red kidney beans
  • 1 15 oz can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 15 oz can canellini beans
  • 1 15 oz can butter beans, drained
  • 1 15 oz can pinto beans, drained
  • 2 14.5 oz diced tomatoes w/ chiles
  • 2 1.25 oz packets chili seasoning
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce

DescriptionDescription  A super easy way to get homemade chili that tastes great. We love to cook up some corn bread to go on the side!
InstructionsInstructions  
  • brown ground beef with onions in skillet over medium high heat
  • drain fat and add to 4 to 5 quart slow cooker
  • add all beans, tomatoes, chili seasoning and tomato sauce to slow cooker - stir
  • cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4 hours
  • season to taste with salt and pepper
  • serve with oinion, cheese and sour cream (if desired)
NotesNotes  Try using ground turkey or chicken for a healthier option.
